Here is a useful application (click on the banner above to link) I discovered recently which allows you to use Google Maps to make location maps. You can save the url for the map (the one below is www.useamap.com/hsd ) you have created and revisit it on-line or send friends the link. You can add photos to a gallery, embed your map in a website or blog (as below), password protect your map and loads of other things by simply changing the map settings.The embedded map below is only a fragment of the full map which you access by clicking the url above.

Why not have a go at making a map for giving directions to your house. Save the url for it and you can then impress your friends by sending the link when they need directions for visiting you!
