Lost? Useamap.com April 11, 2007
Last night, before heading off to bed, I checked my email and read a letter from an ingenious Irish fellow from Dublin by the name of Vincent Glennon, inviting me to explore a nifty resource called Useamap. It’s a free (I like it already!) service that allows users to create a short weblink that makes sharing maps with others very, very easy. Useamap is like using TinyURL for maps. On a whim, I used Useamap and made a quick map describing where I’ll be doing some training. It was easy! I can see many applications for this resource in a classroom where students are studying how to read and create maps. Thanks, Vinny!
