Matthew over in datamining.typepad.com has just posted the following review:

Vincent Glennon just mailed me to describe his UseAMap service. I just tried it and I love it. His email is very well timed. After having just returned from vacation, I have mailed a number of people loooong URLs to maps to let them know where we were. With UseMap, you can create a simple URL - so simple it can be spoken. The idea is very similar to TinyURL but just for maps and with better usability (i.e. you can define the string used to denote the URL).Here is the appropriate example: http://useamap.com/aquamarineOne suggestion for Vincent - there is a digg it button at the bottom of the page - why not make this digg the map being viewed rather than just http://www.useamap.com itself. That way people could digg locations!
