Hi,
A great deal of people has been emailing me asking for the ability to edit/delete existing tags. I am busy making a way of doing this, and it should arrive this Friday. It will present itself as an extra tag along the top of the screen as the user initially selects a location. I will ask for their email address and a password. The can also choose to turn of the “Add a comment” section (perfect for companies who just want to show their location and not have any thing extra on the page). The email and password is asked for that I can identify them later when that person claims to own a tag. After they create the map, there will be an extra button “Login “beside “Return to Homepage”, allowing the user to log into the system and alter/delete the tag.
What are your ideas on this? I do not want to give the impression that you must log in, in order to create a map. Initially I wanted to keep the site free from asking for emails, etc but I realize now it is very easy to misspell something or click on the wrong building. Please comment below or email me at vinny@useamap.com with your thoughts.
Best Regards,
Vincent Glennon.
